The Brown Card

The Brown Card is the official Brown University identification card that provides access to everyday life at Brown.

Hours of Operation

Academic Year: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Summer: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Summer Office hours begin on May 28, 2025 and end on August 17, 2025.

The Brown Card Office will be closed for winter break starting at Noon on the 20th of December.  The office will reopen on the 6th of January at 10 am.  Please email Brown-Card-Office@Brown.edu.

Your Brown Card

The Brown Card is the official Brown University identification card that provides access to everyday life at Brown.

Bear Bucks

The Bear Bucks Account is an optional University maintained debit account designed to provide a convenient and safe way to make purchases of goods and services on campus.

Bear Bucks will be unavailable on July 1st, 2024 from 12 am to 2 am.

Sponsored ID

Brown departments may request a Sponsored ID to provide Brown Cards and electronic services to individuals (known as affiliates) who are not regular students, faculty, or staff at Brown.
